Alaska…The possibilities are endless!

Whether you come in the summer or winter you will have an amazing time here. Extend your stay a week before or after the School of Ministry and experience Alaska in all it has to offer. If you can’t come for an extra week it’s OK– there are abundant activities right here in Anchorage.

If you come in the winter, experience Fur Rondy, Alaska’s premier winter festival with multiple activities. The world famous Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race ceremonial start is held in downtown Anchorage on the first Saturday in March during the School.

If you come in the summer, take the Alaska Railroad to Denali Park or drive south to do some sockeye or king salmon fishing  on the Kenai River, take a glacier/wildlife cruise out of Whittier or Seward, or simply enjoy an afternoon drive to Portage, Homer, or Seward. We have a zoo right here in Anchorage, and a Big Game Wildlife Park in Portage.
