SCRIPTURE: But Moses said to God, “Who am I that I should go to Pharaoh and bring the Israelites out of Egypt?” And God said, “I will be with you…” (Ex. 3:11-12 NIV)
OBSERVATION: “Know Thyself” was written on the pagan Temple of Apollo at Delphi. God never said “know thyself.” The only thing necessary is know God and to trust that he is with us! He is the only One that makes the impossible possible! What did Jesus say when he called us to “go and make disciples of all nations?” He said: “And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age” (Mat. 28:20)
APPLICATION: Who am I? This I know: I am one man, created and called by God to be salt and light on the earth, and to go and make disciples of all nations. What really matters is that I know God is with me, he is for me, not against me, and nothing is too difficult for him. I choose to trust him and follow his instructions!
PRAYER: Father, forgive me for looking more into myself and my abilities than unto you and your agenda and promises. I declare today, “God is with me!”
